2005 Asante sana!

Winemakers Notes:
The 2005 Asante sana`s initial scents of plum and balsa, pull you in, but it`s the deep black cherry and hints of vanilla that keep your focus. On the palate it fans out and the wine`s cabernet sauvignon component blooms in the form of a rich mid-palate and lingering finish. Its Italian heritage shows itself as its lively texture emerges. True to its Sangiovese core, it complements salmon, pasta or pizza perfectly. In our opinion the 2005 Asante sana is a perfect combination of old and new world.
